You should visit Teguise if you enjoy strolling through a beautiful town. You can just walk through the small alleys, or there are also plenty of restaurants or bars for a cup of coffee or a meal. Once a week, this town transforms into an actual touristic center. There is a large Sunday market in Teguise, attracting many tourists on Sunday. The market is great to stroll around, but many of the stalls have one in a dozen products. However, it gives ambiance to the town.

Prices

The entrance to the Sunday market is free! However, if you take the bus from Costa Teguise, you should keep in mind that this will cost 5 euros per person, one way. You can only pay with cash, and bring bills smaller than 20 euros.

Accessibility

Teguise is easy to access, by car but also with public transport. If you want to visit the Sunday market in Teguise but stay in Costa Teguise, you can take the bus that leaves from there. You can go in the morning between 9 and 11 with bus line 11, and it will bring you back between 12 and 14.

Tips and Tricks

The Sunday market is nice because it gives ambiance to the town. However, we recommend you visit early in the morning because it gets very crowded later in the day. We visited in wintertime, and even in that period, we saw very long lines from 11 in the morning.
