Playa Flamingo at Playa Blanca

Probably the best beach for sunbathing and for swimming is Playa Flamingo. This is a man-made lagoon, and the man-made piles of rocks protect the lagoon from high waves. Therefore, Playa Flamingo is also the ideal beach for families with children. There are also plenty of sunbeds to rent, and there is a shower. The azure-blue waters make it inviting for a dive. You can find many restaurants, bars, and shops in its surrounding village Playa Blanca.

Facilities

Around this beach, you can find many restaurants and bars. There is no need to bring your own food or drinks, but you can. This is an excellent place for combining a walk through the beautiful town of Playa Blanca with an afternoon beach day on Playa Flamingo.

Prices

There is no entrance to pay for entering this beach. However, if you want to rent one sunbed or parasol, you must pay a small fee.

Accessibility

Playa Flamingo is relatively easy to reach. It is located in the city of Playa Blanca, so you can easily park your car at one of the resorts. It is also possible and easy to reach this beach by bus. However, we don’t recommend traveling by public transport on the weekends, because there are not many busses driving then.
