Playa del Reducto is by far the best urban beach in Arrecife. Make sure to leave Arrecife as well as Lanzarote has much more to offer

Playa del Reducto was awarded the Blue Ribbon for cleanliness. This beach is cleaned daily, and that’s a real advantage. It is the ideal place to acclimatize if you arrive in Arrecife. However, keep in mind that you are right in the middle of a big city. The beach is good, but not very special except for being very clean. If you want to swim, there is a lifeguard there, and this beach does not have many rocks. If you get hungry or thirsty, it is surrounded by bars and restaurants for drinks or for a good lunch.

Facilities

There are lifeguards on the beach, so it is safe for you and your family to go for a swim over here. Next to the beach, you can find a street stuffed with restaurants and bars. Ideal if you are in for a lunch or a drink. A beach in the middle of a city can have its advantages!

Accessibility

Because this beach is located in the middle of the capital of Lanzarote, it is really easy to get to the beach. There is a bus stop, just literally next to the beach. If you are staying in Arrecife, you can easily walk to the beach. The city center is not that big, and you can always enter the beach, there are no opening hours.
