To admire a true spectacle of how the sea can impact the land, you should visit Los Hervideros. Suppose you want to see the full power of the waves crashing into the rocky cliffs. In that case, you should visit during high tide, full moon, or on one of the roughest ocean days of Lanzarote to have the most stunning spectacle. Don’t forget to bring your camera, you can take beautiful photos over here.

Facilities

Be aware that there are no facilities nearby. You have to drive to either El Golfo or La Hoya for bars, restaurants, or supermarkets. Especially on warm days, you should bring enough water and food with you.

Prices

You can visit Los Hervideros for free! Nowadays, it is hard to imagine, but this is one of the only beautiful natural phenomena you can still visit for free.

Accessibility

Los Hervideros is located on the way from La Hoya To El Golfo, in the volcanic area of Lanzarote. It is easily accessible by car; however, public transport is quite hard to reach. It is possible if you really want to, but keep in mind that you have to walk for almost an hour from La Hoya to Los Hervideros. We recommend renting a car if you want to visit this place, and you can combine this with a visit to El Lago Verde.
