Cacti of Jardin de cactus

Jardin de Cactus is a real unique place on the island of Lanzarote. This place is home to over 200 different cacti and was an idea and was made by the famous architect Cesar Manrique. You can just walk around here and admire the many different cacti, or you can also just sit down and have a cup of coffee. Especially the black color of the lava stones is beautifully in contrast with the cacti’s green, yellow, and red colors.

Facilities

Jardin de Cactus is open from 10 am till around 17 pm.

Prices

If you only want to visit Mirador del Rio, you must pay 10 euros. However, if you are interested in visiting more of Cesar Manrique’s creations, such as Jameos del aqua, or Jardin de cactus, you can buy combination tickets. For example 29 euros for 4 locations, or 23,50 for 3 locations.

Accessibility

Jardin de Cactus is easily accessible by car; there is a nice large parking place next to it. If you don’t have a car and don’t want to visit this place with an overcrowded tour bus: just take the bus! Bus line 26 brings you from Arrecife (which is passing by Costa Teguise) all the way up north and stops at Jardin de Cactus. Bus prices are low, but keep in mind to bring cash money, with no larger billets than 20 euros.
