If you want a vibrant, stunning town, you should go to Costa Teguise. It is not as touristic as the other areas on Lanzarote are, but it looks beautiful. The environment here is really taken care of. It also has a few beaches to visit. Two are great for sunbathing and swimming: Playa de las Cucharas or Playa del Jablillo. There are also enough restaurants and bars for drinks and a meal. You can also find many shops if you enjoy shopping.

Accessibility

Costa Teguise is one of the most beautiful towns in Lanzarote. It is also easily accessible by car and with public transport. However, if you need to get there on the weekend, keep in mind that public transport may take a while.

Tips and Tricks

If you are into sports, Costa Teguise is a great place. If you enjoy running, you can follow a few kilometers long way along the coast with beautiful views over the sea. This is also a great route to do on the bike, though. Costa Teguise is one of the best-maintained towns we’ve ever seen!

Where to eat

If you visit a town you probably also want to know where to eat. Since you are in Spain, you cannot leave the island without eating tapas! There are many options, but we did the research for you and found the best tapas restaurant in Lanzarote, in our opinion: La Tabla. Curious how we experienced this place? Find here more information about La Tabla.
